Why should I take a cellular lease for my stay in Israel?
In order to be in constant contact with your friends and family. Today a cellular phone gives you peace of mind and security. A cellular phone is no longer a convenience but a necessity .
 
How do I get my phone?
Your IsraelPhone can be shipped to you in the U.S. or Israel.
 
I live in Australia, or the United Kingdom. Can I get a SIM card for my cell phone?
Yes, we do ship SIM cards to Australia, and the United Kingdom. Your mobile phone must be a GSM, unlocked phone in order to rent a SIM card only. Please check with your mobile phone carrier if your phone is suitable.
Please indicate the delivery address on your order form.
 
What is the Authorization Process?
An 'authorization' is not a charge on your credit card. It is simply a confirmation by the bank that there are sufficient funds in your account. Your available credit limit will be temporaily lowered for 30 days, but no transaction will appear on your statement. If you see the authorization on your on-line credit card account, be assured that this is not a debit of your credit card but simply a statement that an authorization has been temporarily placed on the account. 
 
How do I return my phone at the end of my stay in Israel?  
You have several options available to you:
1.   Mail the phone/SIM from the Ben-Gurion Airport Post Office, via registered mail to our Israel address for a $7.50 charge.
    The post office is located at the Ben Gurion Airport - Ha'Shchakim Mall (Terminal 3, 3rd floor), after check in, BEFORE passport control on the far left side of the hall.
    Hours of operation:
Sunday - Thursday 7:00 AM - 24:00 Midnight.
Friday 7:00 AM - 14:00 PM
Closed on Saturday

2.   Call our customer service at 1-800-721-111 (in Israel) to request a pickup ($19 charge).
Please note: phones that were delivered to you will not automatically be picked up at the end of your rental.
     
3.   Return the phone to our U.S. or Israel offices. Call us for exact address at:

Which cellular carrier will be providing my service in Israel?
IsraelPhones will provide your cellular lease through Cellcom (052) or Pelephone (050).
Cellcom is the largest cellular carrier in Israel with approximately 3 million customers, operating on an advanced TDMA and GSM system with quality service across in Israel.
 
Is there a minimum rental period?
For short-term rentals there is no minimum rental period.
To receive IsraelPhones discounted long-term rental rates you must commit to a minimum of three months.
 
How much do I pay for incoming calls and incoming text messages?
Absolutely FREE from anywhere in the world
 
 
What does my cell phone rental insurance cover?
Insurance covers all damages (excluding water damage) and ensures that if the phone is lost or stolen you only pay the deductible of $100 for the first claim. Each additional claim incurs a $175 deductible. Without insurance coverage the replacement cost is $250.
Until you report the stolen Israel Phone to both phone numbers, you are liable for all calls placed from your phone!
 
How do I dial overseas?
All international calls made from your IsraelPhones rental should be placed via the international dialing code 00, in order to receive the agreed upon rates. Use of a different international dialing code will result in higher per minute rates.
 
What if I return my rental to an agent location, from which I did not rent through originally??
Depending on which country the agent to whom you are returning the equipment is located, your account will be assessed a fee, according to the following schedule:
UK Agents: $25
USA Agents: $10
Canadian Agents: $10
Australian Agents: $25
